PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The San Jose EarthQuakes and EduGate are pleased to offer a Soccer Camp. This program consists of a series of daily soccer training sessions and activities plus meeting with college coaches on college preparation. This camps is hosted at a modern campus environment in beautiful Marin, only 30 minutes from San Franciso.
The primary goals of the program are:
- To improve soccer skills by providing a high quality training environment run by former professional soccer players and accredited coaches from the San Jose EarthQuakes Academy program.
- To increase knowledge of the college admission process by providing “College Night” sessions that include speaking with college coaches about the process and learning what to expect.
Whether the player is a novice or has advanced skills, our camp will provide an environment where s/he can excel and learn valuable skills both on and off the field. For novice players, the program is designed to introduce them to more advanced topics and provide high energy fun! With an emphasis on using the soccer ball in drills, we will teach them ball control, coordination, movement, direction following and team work. For more advanced players, the program is designed to help take their game to the next level. Through educational sessions and intense training, students will hone both their soccer and mental skills.
Group sizes will consist of 15-20 students. Both girls and boys ages 10-18 can participate. Your group can be schoolmates, friends or even your existing team you are playing on. All players that are interested in improving their soccer skills and learning about and preparing for undergraduate opportunities in the United States should attend.
PROGRAM DETAILS
Summer 2018 – (for boys and girls ages 10-18)
Price: $2,800-3,000 per player (minimum group size 12, discounts available for larger groups, price does not include airfare)
This 10 day camp provides plenty of learning opportunities as well as a lot of fun for girls and boys ages 10-18. Players will receive the following at this camp:
- 14 hours of soccer training provided by San Jose EarthQuakes Academy coaching staff
- Tour of Avaya Stadium and attend a San Jose EarthQuakes match
- Take a field trip to San Francisco’s famous Pier 39 and Union Square
- Dual Occupancy private room
- 3 Meals per day (breakfast, lunch, dinner) + snack
- Transportation to/from SFO airport and off-site activities included
- End of camp Certificate Ceremony
- And more
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
All students participating in programs must show proof of medical insurance coverage. The students should provide us with a copy of their insurance cards or policies in English. It is recommended that the insurance company have a U.S. office and that the coverage be for a minimum of $250,000 (USD) per incident. If students do not have insurance, we can provide excellent coverage for the duration of the camp. Students under the age of 18 must also have medical release forms signed by their parents or legal guardians.
